Today we’d like to introduce you to David Christopher.
Hi David, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story starts on the floor of my childhood bedroom: 12 years old, listening to Blink-182, and teaching myself how to play guitar. From there, two of my best friends and I started a band. We traveled, we played, and somehow that led me to become the CEO of my own company.
Now I am the CEO and founder of Fit TV Network, an app with incredibly diverse content. I am the CEO, producer, writer, trainer, and actor on the app. In between running my company, I am also a tv personality. I most recently starred on the Amazon Prime Original Reality Series Cosmic Love. And staying true to my athletic side, I have also been on Peacock’s Frogger and Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge.
It has been an unexpected journey, to say the least.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth ride, haha! There is always something that pops up. Dealing with so many different personalities, schedules, and budgets; it becomes very challenging at times. I believe every business has their share of challenges. You just have to stay the course and remind yourself to take it one step at a time.
Outside of the pitfalls inherent to business, I myself have had my own struggles and adversities. I have found myself on a path that is filled with constant twists and turns and sacrifices. I am grateful to be on it, but it is not easy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
More than anything, I am proud of the foundation I have set for my company and the shows associated with it. I have been a part of the entertainment industry for over 15 years. I have seen so many people and brands come and go, like flashes in a pan. I have set out to have my creations be more than that. I want my art, my company, my shows to be an experience that lasts a lifetime.
That being said, I am so incredibly proud of how persistently I have pursued my dreams. I am truly in awe and humbled by the crowds I have played for, the shows I have organized, and the productions I have been on. Acting has always been a love of mine, and I am so grateful to have starred in an award-winning short and in several action productions.
What sets me apart is my determination, work ethic, vision, and drive. I have always had a “first in, last out” mentality that has allowed me to consistently be the hardest worker in a room. With this, I am incredibly blessed and grateful that God has given me the grit and foresight necessary to build something that I know can stand on its own.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Nobody comes up without the help of others. I have had incredible people in my life who have helped shape me and guide me.
To start, my family has been a huge source of support and inspiration. I am grateful to each of them for the unique ways they have impacted me.
I also cannot thank enough every person and mentor who believed in me and guided me on this journey.
Then to my friends, thank you. You have played such an important role in my life and in my success.
Lastly, I owe everything to God. He put the people in my path that needed to be there. He guided me through the tough decisions and hard times. I am where I am because He walked beside me.
