Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Quayle.
Hi Crystal, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My healing journey has been deeply inspired and guided by my two young daughters, now ages 7 and 4. They continue to be my greatest teachers and unwavering sources of strength. Motherhood has opened my heart in ways I never imagined—it has expanded my capacity for love, compassion, and patience.
Through them, I’ve come to understand that parenting is not just about teaching; it’s about learning, unlearning, and evolving. Every day, they hold up a mirror for me, reflecting both the beautiful and challenging parts of myself, gently urging me to grow into the best version of who I can be.
Being a mother is the greatest gift—and also a profound responsibility that I take very seriously. It is through this role that I’ve learned some of life’s most important lessons. It’s not always easy, but it’s always meaningful. And I’m deeply grateful for the journey and how it has allowed me to expand.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
After my second daughter was born, I quickly realized I was experiencing postpartum depression—but it didn’t look like what I had always heard about. Instead of overwhelming sadness, I was consumed by severe anxiety and frequent panic attacks. Just getting out of the house with my two children felt impossible some days.
I wasn’t sad all the time—I just felt disconnected, anxious, and unable to find joy in my daily routine. The simple tasks of motherhood that I had once approached with ease now felt heavy and overwhelming.
This difficult season led me to art therapy, which became the first doorway into my healing. Through creative expression, I began to reconnect with myself. Around the same time, I started a daily yoga practice, which gave me a sense of grounding and presence I hadn’t felt in a long time.
With time, therapy opened new pathways, and I was introduced to meditation and breathwork. Breathwork, in particular, became a profound tool for healing. It helped me access and release parts of myself that had been shut down—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This journey wasn’t linear or easy, but it was transformative. And it all began when I allowed myself to seek help, to soften into support, and to trust that healing was possible.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Crystal is an educator, sound practitioner, Reiki and breathwork facilitator, meditation guide, and certified functional breath coach. She weaves together ancient healing modalities—including intuitive movement, sound, conscious breath, and guided meditation—to create transformative experiences that restore energetic flow, build trust in the body’s innate wisdom, and awaken the inner healer.
I’m most proud of the inner work I’ve done to arrive at this place—where I not only feel grounded in myself, but also equipped to support others on their healing journeys.
What began as a personal path through anxiety, postpartum depression, and emotional disconnection has evolved into a deeper calling. I’ve devoted myself to learning and embodying the very practices that helped me heal—art therapy, yoga, meditation, and breathwork—not just for my own well-being, but so I can share them in a meaningful, informed, and compassionate way.
I’ve poured time, energy, and intention into becoming a well-rounded, educated, and trauma-informed teacher. And I remain a student at heart—always learning, always growing. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s presence. It’s creating safe, supportive spaces for others to reconnect with themselves, just as I have.
This work is deeply personal. It’s sacred. And I am honored to walk alongside others as they begin or continue their own healing.
What makes you happy?
The sunshine makes me happy—so does my breath.
My children’s laughter is medicine.
I find joy in bees and butterflies, trees and meditation.
Movement fills me.
The ocean grounds me.
Dolphins remind me to play.
I’m nurtured by my family, held by my friends, and inspired by my community.
These are the things that bring me back to myself—
simple, sacred, and alive.
