Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Crush.
Hi Brittney, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Acting was my first love and introduction to life as a performer. My mom signed me up for acting classes at seven years old and somewhere around my early pre-teen years, I fell in love with music and songwriting. I’ve been blessed to have a supportive family who allowed me to explore these gifts from God. As the years passed, I continued training and staying involved in the Arts, later forming my own band, booking shows and releasing my own music.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle I think I had was realizing how much you really have to step out on faith and trust God and yourself. You have to bet on yourself, put in the work, and let God do the rest.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a full-time recording artist, songwriter, actor and published model. I think what sets me apart is the passion I have in the foundation of my art form. I’m always a student, I’m such a fan of live bands (hence why I always perform with my band), and I still love theater so together I think those things make me a strong and unique live performer and overall artist. I also have a lot of respect and influence from the legendary Queens of Jazz, Pop, Soul & Rock before me
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to trust God and to have immense gratitude thru it all.
