Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Wall
Hi Anthony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from Baltimore and left to join the Air Force at 18. I’ve always had a wild imagination and loved the freedom of art in all forms. So I went to college for Graphic Design then started my own business Shirt Caviar in 2015 after graduating. Since then I’ve been through hell personally but every time things got bad I dive into art, the art always helps heal. Now I’m making Satire Rap Music and have developed a “Mixtape Universe”. I’ve always wanted to live in L.A. so I moved here in 2020 for work, it definitely feels like my home away from home.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Well no, my childhood was a war, I got married young and while in the military, I ended up developing a lot of mental health issues and got divorced, then I had a wild rockstar like time period until I got into a relationship in 2018. That relationship was with an abusive narcissist who got so mad when I broke up with her that she has a whole instagram page dedicated to dragging my name through whatever.
Add hella financial stress throughout that story and yea, but I’m here now so i can’t complain.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I mostly do graphic design although I’ve branched out a bit recently to do more music and video, I also have a podcast that’s unique because I break it up into seasons. I’m most proud of the music and video production though because I’m using all my talent in different forms to take my vision and bring it into reality. This year I put together a. Caviar Con on YouTube showcasing my art pieces from digital to video to music.
What does success mean to you?
Success means to never give up, never bet against yourself, that voice and dream you keep hearing and seeing in your mind is what you’re here for, work for it until you achieve it.
