Check Out Andrea Rullo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Rullo

Hi Andrea, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started producing music just for fun as a passion at the age of 16. Then slowly I met lot of people that helped me growing up in music industry. My very first milestone was back in 2015 when Tiesto played one of my remix at the biggest festival in the world, Tomorrowland. From that day everything has changed. Lot of people were interested in me and my music so I’ve started collaborating with big names in the industry like Ultra Records, Atlantic Records, Universal and many more. Then my music was supported globally by the biggest radio stations in the world like BBC Radio, SiriusXm and has reached prestigious charts like the Billboard top 40.
I came from the EDM world but then I specialized in pop and rock/trap music too thanks to a collective in Los Angeles were I met lot of creative people that helped me to enter into this new world. I had the privilege to work with very big names and legends into this world.
Now I’m more concentrate to work as producer and engineer to help other artists vision and offering my experience to small and big acts, no matter who they are, if I feel I work with them

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not a smooth road. I’m from a little Italian town called Gerace in Calabria that count less than 3k people and from a very humble family. Imagine starting from there and have a global reach. It was all about the passion first. I’ve received lot of no or not reply when I was sending demos to music people. The hardest thing was the connections, now I proudly have my relations with people in the industry but it was the hardest things to do beause I was not around this world, no one of these people were around me.
So the point it was making music that creat interest.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a music producer and a mixing and mastering engineer.
I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved, all the collaborations with big names in the industry.
I think what sets me apart from others is the genuine passion I have for music, It’s not just a business, it’s first passion. I think that brought me to where I am now

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Uhm really cool question. I’ve learned a lot of lesson but I think the most important is to not sleep on your talent, don’t be shy to connect with people. Keep the momentum up and never give up if you really want it. The journey is always influenced by up and down moments, what it help to achieve is having a clear vision and go to the direction that you think is right for you as a person and creative and having your own balance.
