Check Out Adriana Gourian-Tehrani’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Gourian-Tehrani.

Adriana Gourian-Tehrani

Hi Adriana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My career has been in Corporate Accounting since I was 21, but I never felt fulfilled. I always felt a little bit empty inside. I am a recovering people pleaser and worked hard long hours just to be noticed. When I came back from an international trip, is when I decided I had to get help for this empty feeling. I kept looking to find myself to feel whole, and slowly, within the last 6 years, I found myself getting certified in the art of healing within realms of energy, including Life coaching, Reiki Master, and Breathwork Detox. I want to make an impact lives by helping people from feeling empty, frozen, with anxiety to feeling more satisfied, joyful, and purposeful in life by letting go of the emotional weight that they don’t even realize they’re carrying that is holding them back from their own traumas, ancestral traumas, societal pressures, etc. I can now saw I know what it feels like to feel so happy and fulfilled because I’ve let the burden holding me back go through the modalities I offer.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. I became the person I needed for myself to help other people be seen, be heard, and be loved. I cried many tears always, was a shy girl, and had so much anger within me that I had been numbing for so long through food and being a workaholic to blame everyone but myself. I didn’t realize what was holding me back. I was also always the good girl to make sure everyone liked me, and when they didn’t, I would become extremely shy and feel unworthy. I didn’t realize until recently that was holding onto so much of trauma, my family trauma and ancestral trauma since I was a kid.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I transitioned out of corporate Accounting to become a Breathwork Detox Facilitator, Reiki Master, and an Emotional Weight Transformation Coach. I facilitate Breathwork in small and large sessions for local and corporate communities around the country. Breathwork has made a large impact on my mental health, so I love being able to help others with this modality as well with just the power of your breath!

I also love getting to know people and their stories and how it makes them so unique from one another. Through my 1:1 sessions, I help people to feel seen, heard, and loved by letting them tell me their story and using modalities such as Breathwork, Reiki, Ancestral Alignment, and other energy modalities to help people heal their emotional trauma held from this lifetime or ancestral DNA. I love helping people who don’t know where to start in understanding how powerful on body is, how our bodies hold trauma, how our bodies remember everything, and once each session is complete, how they feel so much lighter, more aware, and more confident in that their journey of hardship is what helps fuels your purpose and your journey to continue finding your beautiful shining light in this body and world.

I’m most proud of how far I’ve come to get here. The little shy girl who struggled with stuttering, struggled using her voice, who always felt small in this world now helps others find their true self without having to hold back.

What sets me apart from others is my passion to help is real and authentic. I came from low-income upbringing, and I’ve worked really hard to become the best version of myself. I work hard and don’t let myself quit as hard as it can get when people say negative things because I know people need my services, and the unconditional love I can give to people and help them create for themselves is needed. This world needs help understanding and holding space for true love.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson in this journey is you’re never alone and don’t ever quit before finding the true miracle of who you are. It’s ok to get help sometimes, as we don’t know what we don’t know, and having help is allowing us to grow in ways we didn’t even know how to tap into that power of ourselves ❤️.
