Today we’d like to introduce you to Тamila Bosko.
Hi Тamila, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a dermatologist and aesthetic physician specializing in injectables, with over 10 years of medical training and practice. After completing 7 years in general medicine and 3 years of specialization in dermatology, I expanded into medical aesthetics to meet the growing demand for advanced skin and anti-aging treatments. I have trained internationally, attended medical congresses worldwide, and gained strong patient trust and recognition in my field.
Due to the war in my home countries, I relocated to the United States, where I aim to continue developing my medical expertise and contribute to the advancement of modern aesthetic medicine
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The challenges on my path never really stopped. I didn’t have much of a typical “student life,” because we were constantly overloaded with assignments. Many professors doubted whether a woman could truly be a doctor, so I had to prove myself again and again. As a young specialist, I was often given the toughest and most “unpleasant” tasks. On top of that, advanced training courses were expensive, so I worked night shifts at the hospital to earn extra money.
But all of this shaped me. It built my resilience, discipline, and determination—it was like a form of natural selection that strengthened my character and made me the doctor I am today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
For most of my practice, I have specialized in aesthetic injectables—Botox, fillers, and facial contouring—as well as skin quality treatments and laser rejuvenation. I also design personalized therapeutic skincare programs for patients with various skin conditions.
I have a trained eye for facial aesthetics, and I deeply understand the physiology of how the face ages. This allows me to prevent or soften the visible signs of aging while preserving a person’s individuality. My goal is to help patients feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful—supporting not only their appearance but also their mental well-being.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Overall, I truly enjoy the climate, nature, and the feeling of an endless vacation here. The clean streets, the beautiful and well-mannered people around—it all inspires me. Back home, palm trees were only something we could dream of, and now I see them every day. Living in an apartment with a pool, having the ocean so close by—it feels like a blessing. I often find myself saying: God bless my choice to come here, and may I be able to stay.
