Today we’d like to introduce you to ITS Jawn.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well, it all started when I broke my leg about a year and a half ago. This gave me the time and the patience to realize what I wanted to do outside of skateboarding. Since I wasn’t able to skateboard, let alone walk to the bathroom. I had to use my creativity in various other ways so this is when I started making music and making clothes as well. And as soon as I was able to walk, I started modeling.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Nothing has been smooth this entire journey. I’ve had multiple ups multiple downs. But the only thing I can truly control is my reaction to certain situations. My energy and perception is everything. As long as I’m being creative every day and starting something new and finishing something every day, I feel like I can’t lose.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
IT’S JAWN. Just your friendly neighborhood artist. I make crazy music. Skateboard in my own clothing. And model sometimes. I specialize in being me. But I’m most known for having Calvin Klein ads all over LA recently, billboards & bus stops, etc. I’m mostly proud of doing all of this WITH NO MANAGER OR AGENCY. And I feel like I’m different from others because I’m my own brand and I love being myself.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Family and friends are everything to me they keep it real and keep me grounded. But all I really want to do is help people. Help people realize they can do whatever they want to do. Manifest your reality.
