Bri Ellison’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We recently had the chance to connect with Bri Ellison and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bri , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are my foundation. I wake up around 6 a.m. and spend the first 30 minutes grounding my energy and setting the tone for the day. I start with five minutes of breathwork, then journal whatever’s on my mind or anything I want clarity around. Journaling helps me connect with my higher self and receive gentle guidance for the day ahead.

After that, I give myself a short Reiki session to balance my chakras and make sure my energy feels aligned. I finish by choosing one word to anchor into for the day. For example, if my word is peace and I notice myself drifting away from that feeling later on, I pause, take a few deep breaths, and realign with that energy.

This simple 30-minute ritual has completely transformed my mornings. It’s about starting the day on your own terms—nourishing your mind, body, and spirit before tending to others. After that, I shift into mom mode: I get ready, wake up my kids, feed our dog, make lunches, and take the kids to school. Then I head to Pilates before starting my workday and seeing clients.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Bri Ellison, a Somatic Energy Practitioner and Holistic Wellness coach. I guide women to reconnect with their true nature and release what no longer serves them both physically, mentally, and energetically. Through my work, I create a safe, nurturing space where clients can be fully vulnerable, explore their emotions, and uncover deep healing.

My practice is unique because it works with both the physical and energetic body, helping restore flow, ease, and alignment in life. I combine modalities like somatic energy work, breathwork, and mindset practices to support lasting transformation. Many clients say it feels like they’re shedding weight they didn’t even realize they were carrying, and in the process, remembering their own strength and vitality.

Beyond one-on-one sessions, I offer the Rise & Align membership and the Alignment Roadmap masterclass. Rise & Align is my signature membership for women who are ready to stop living on autopilot and step into real alignment. It blends somatic energy work, mindset tools, live coaching, and community support all in one space. What makes it unique is that it’s not just education; it’s ongoing transformation with real guidance and real connection.

Inside the membership, women gain a clearer mindset and a clearer vision for their lives, so they stop feeling stuck, confused, or playing small. Their nervous system becomes calmer, their energy becomes easier to manage, and they start reconnecting deeply with their intuition and higher self. And because the work is practical and sustainable, members build small daily habits that compound over time and create major shifts in their lives.

With live guided meditations, bi-monthly coaching calls, monthly deep dives, and a supportive community, Rise & Align is designed to help women heal, release what no longer serves them, and show up fully aligned with who they truly are. Providing tools and guidance to help women cultivate balance, clarity, and inner peace in their everyday lives. My mission is to help women reclaim their energy, reconnect with themselves, and show up in life fully aligned with who they are.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I believe what breaks the bonds between people is not feeling truly seen. When we go through life on autopilot and allow our relationships to do the same, it creates disconnection. Over time, this can lead to feelings like resentment, neglect, or even depression. We all want to feel loved, appreciated, and valued, but it’s easy to become complacent in our relationships.

The best way to restore those bonds is through intentional, quality time and presence. For a couple, that might look like planning a spontaneous date. For friends, it could be taking a walk in nature followed by a meaningful conversation over lunch. It’s about actively listening, being fully present, and showing the people in your life that they truly matter. These small, intentional gestures can rebuild connection and deepen trust in ways that last.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell her, “It’s all going to be okay. Even when things feel uncertain or overwhelming, trust that it will all work out exactly as it’s meant to. Follow your heart, because it will always guide you in the right direction, even if the path isn’t clear right now. You are stronger, wiser, and more capable than you realize, and every experience is shaping you into the person you’re meant to become.”

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
The cultural value I protect most is authenticity. I’ve never been one for surface-level small talk; I thrive in conversations that are real, meaningful, and allow us to show up as we truly are. That might mean embracing your quirks, your “weirdness,” or the parts of yourself that society often tells you to hide. When we allow ourselves to be fully authentic, it opens the door to creativity, expression, and genuine connection.

I see so much harm in holding back our true selves, both personally and professionally. Protecting authenticity means creating spaces where people can be vulnerable, expressive, and fully themselves without judgment. For me, it’s non-negotiable; it’s at the heart of how I live, work, and connect with others.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope they say I lived boldly, on my own terms, always listening to the quiet guidance of my intuition, following the rhythm of my own heart, and showing up fully in service of others. I want my life to be a reminder that the wisdom we seek is already within us; that the power to heal, to create, to love deeply, has always been ours.

Even in our vulnerability, our struggles, and our messiness, we are whole. We are luminous. And when we pause, breathe, and honor our inner voice, we step into the fullness of who we were always meant to be.
