Nader Bakier shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Nader, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
Good morning! and thank you for having me again today. My days are pretty much split between creating music and staying inspired. I’ll wake up, catch up on music releases, maybe sketch some ideas on piano or guitar or my computer and then head over into my room studio and experiment with new beats and sounds. Some days I’m locked in on a mix idea, other days it’s just about writing new catchy and layered loops or chasing a new sound. Even when I’m not making music, I’m feeding my creativity — whether that’s through listening, reading, or just being out and about.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello everyone — I’m Nader, better known as NaderGator. I’m a multi-genre music producer and songwriter. I am of Circassian-American heritage, currently based in Amman, Jordan – after relocating from the USA a few years ago.
My brand has always been about musical openness — I don’t like to be boxed into one genre. My work spans electronic dance music, pop, hip-hop, alternative, and cinematic instrumentals — whatever best captures the emotion, vibe or story I want to convey.
What makes “NaderGator” unique is the way I blend personal experience, diverse influences, and digital innovation. Inspiration often comes from everyday life — the highs, the lows, and everything in between — which I translate into sound. I’m constantly pushing the boundaries of sound, whether by fusing unexpected genres or experimenting with new production technologies.
I currently publish my music through ByteDance, with a fast-growing catalog that’s finding its way into people’s lives every day. One of the most rewarding things has been seeing listeners use my music on TikTok to soundtrack their own stories.
Right now, I’m focused on expanding my catalog with new singles, instrumentals, and collaborations, while also diving deeper into sync opportunities for film, TV, and gaming. My vision is for my music to live beyond streaming playlists — to connect with people wherever they are: on screens, in ads, in games, or in those personal moments when sound becomes memory.
If there’s one thing I’d like readers to take away, it’s this: “NaderGator” isn’t just a producer! — it’s a storytelling journey, and every track is a new chapter for me and for those who connect with my music.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was just a kid with headphones on! creating sounds in my head and day-dreaming in melodies. I didn’t think about genres, image, or expectations — I just wanted to make things that felt true. Over time, life and culture tried to box me in, but music has always been the place where I return to that original version of myself — curious, experimental, and free. That’s still the heart of “NaderGator” today!
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me humility, patience, and the value of honesty in expression — lessons that success alone can’t give. When things fall apart or don’t go as planned, you’re forced to look inward, to confront fear and doubt. It’s in those moments that I’ve discovered my true creative voice, the kind of raw emotion that resonates with people. Success feels great, but it can’t teach you resilience or empathy the way struggle does. Those lessons now shape the music I make — the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is definitely part of the real me — it’s my authentic self expressed through music, visuals, and interaction with fans. But like anyone, I’m more than what people see online or in the studio. There are private moments of doubt, growth, and vulnerability that don’t always make it to social media or press. What you see publicly is the truest version of me I can offer in that space — but it’s also curated to focus on the art, not every detail of my personal life. Music is where I let the full version of myself out!
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think the thing people might most misunderstand about my legacy is assuming it’s just about hits, streams, or numbers. For me, it’s never been about metrics — it’s about creating music that connects, tells stories, and makes people feel something real, My hope is that, years from now, people will remember the emotion and experimentation behind the tracks, not just the commercial success. I want my work to reflect curiosity, risk-taking, and honesty, and I hope that’s what will last.
