An Inspired Chat with Dean Soleimani of Sherman Oaks

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Dean Soleimani. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Dean, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
The most rewarding moments—the ones that truly make us feel proud—are when clients take the time to offer us genuine praise for our service, and, even more meaningfully, transition from being just clients to becoming real friends and advocates.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Dean Soleimani, one of the driving forces behind StickerCity, a premier automotive aftermarket shop specializing in paint protection film (PPF). We offer the full spectrum of high-end finishes—from crystal clear and stealth matte—and are now excited to introduce our revolutionary colored PPF services. Our story is built on innovation; it’s the commitment to staying ahead of every industry trend that makes StickerCity truly special to go along with exceptional service and experience.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Instead of one pivotal event, my worldview is constantly being shaped by the ongoing, meaningful interactions I share with our clients. We are blessed to serve such successful people, and I view every conversation as an opportunity to gain wisdom. These clients are, effectively, living books filled with a wealth of knowledge and experiences that provide me with incredible, actionable insights.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has challenged me the most isn’t failure, but the danger of comfort. When things are easy and comfortable, the inherent drive to advance and innovate can easily fade. However, those ‘kicks’ that life inevitably delivers serve as a necessary jolt—a moment that restarts the creative energy and ambition needed to pursue bigger, more meaningful goals.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
he person I admire most for their character—far beyond any measure of power—is my father. He exemplified extraordinary resilience, consistently facing life with his head held high and an unwavering positive attitude. His entire life was a testament to his dedication, always prioritizing the well-being of his family above everything else

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had only ten years remaining, the first thing I would stop immediately is wasting time on anything that doesn’t contribute to my purpose. Having already enjoyed many of the world’s great experiences and traveled extensively, my singular focus would shift to leaving a lasting mark—creating something impactful that future generations can benefit from and enjoy. It would be my legacy to the world.
