Hi Coretta, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I get up, sing in the shower, get dressed and enjoy breakfast.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello! I am a singer-songwriter and actress living there hustling dream currently.. I have an album out entitled “Counterculturally Black.” I am currently working on my next project “AfroPunk.,” an album inspired by the AfroPunk festivals and other festivals.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Learning in College at Appalachian State University really shaped how I see the world. It made me open to diversity and all that goes with it.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fact that College wasn’t a music conservatory but Acting one.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My transition from assigned at male from birth to a fully functioning women’s system.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew that I had 10 years left of life, I would immediately stop panicking over my music not being perfect.
