We’re looking forward to introducing you to Arthur “Nino” Butler. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Arthur “Nino”, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Although intelligence and energy are important in the context of any relationship, I feel like integrity is paramount because it dictates how one shows up in the relationship.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Sure! I’m Arthur “Nino” Butler, founder of 10 Thousand Hours, LLC and a Billboard charted music producer, published photographer and event curator. I’m a self taught creative who also brings over 15 years of professional experience to every client interaction. My experience in event production dates back to my college years at Wabash College in Indiana where I produced comedy shows, fashion shows, major artist concerts and campus wide parties.
I now summons all of these talents and skills to create compelling content (music, events or both) to enhance the look and reach of my client’s brands and/or artistry. In 2023, I created the Savor the Culture nationwide dinner party series to celebrate African American chefs and creatives partnering alongside Peerspace and ActiveCamaign. In the summer of 2025, my company partnered with Presonus and The Worthy Hour to present “The Bridge”, a music business forum that brought together music producers and artists to network and deepen their knowledge of the music industry that was held at the BMI office in Beverly Hills, CA.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
I think my grandfather taught me the most about work. He told me when I was 5 years old to be the best at whatever I decided to do in life and at that young age I definitely took his words to heart! He also led by example through consistency in his work as a floral shop manager and wholesaler.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Interestingly enough, every time I considered changing paths away from pursuing music, God had a way of pointing me back on this path. Eventually I would accept the fate and weight of my journey and have yet to peer off this journey ever again!
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
I would absolutely say the public version of me is the real me and being my most authentic self is what I’ve learned is the key to my success. People have always been drawn to my natural leadership abilities and I would be doing myself a disservice to present myself any other way.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
The value of consistency. Most people will falter and give up when their efforts don’t yield immediate, tangible results. Every day that I keep pushing on, I realize I’m giving myself another opportunity to win!
