Has it been a smooth road?
I wish I could say it has been an easy road but it has not. I continue to remain focused, humble and staying true to myself and my worth as an artist. @ Major milestones for me has been and professional MUA for over 10 years and I recently celebrated my 1 year anniversary of moving to LA.
What are your plans for the future?
Currently my plans are to continue branding my name globally. I am planning a tour teaching makeup lessons, which will be coming soon. I would like to make a difference in the beauty industry as a makeup artist.
Let’s dig a little deeper into your story. What was the hardest time you’ve had?
The hardest time in my career was last year when I decides to sale my home and move to LA. I felt like a fish out of water, no real money coming in, and I didn’t know anyone, but I did know LA is where I was supposed to be. I can say that after a year and a half I have accomplished more than most but I am still striving and developing my brand.
Do you ever just stop and think WOW – I’ve made it?
I never want to feel like I made it because that’s the attitude that stops individuals from continuing to reach higher. But a moment in my life where I felt the “Wow” factor…I can’t say that I have experienced that yet. Every moment I get to make someone feel better about themselves “painting faces”, is a wow moment for me no matter the status of the individual. I absolutely love what I do.
