Today we’d like to introduce you to Nareh Aleksanyan
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a Floral Artist and nothing makes me more satisfied and happier than working with fresh flowers and creating beautiful arrangements. My goal is to make people feel special, see the beautiful smile on their faces and make their day as bright as possible ! Flowers always were my passion. Starting at very young age I was deeply connected with nature, and I always appreciate the beauty which surrounds us all. Every creation of nature is unique ,we just need to pay attention and look closer. In my hometown I had a balcony filled with different types of plants, succulents and cactuses and every morning I couldn’t wait to wake up water them spray and talk to my flowers. My mornings were such a joy in my little world which I created. As time passed by, I was working in different flower shops in different countries. While I was working to get my multiple degrees I was also working as a florist as a side job. I moved to L.A. Here in L.A I had the pleasure to work with different people and got different experiences . I gained more knowledge on how to take care of plants and flowers and now I could say my dream came true and I had a chance to open my own flower shop in my beloved Pasadena . I didn’t grow up here, but I feel so deep connection with this city that sometimes I forget I’m not from here. I could proudly say that my heart is in Pasadena where I operate my business and it is my home. There couldn’t be something better than that!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing is easy, and there will always be challenges and obstacles on our way, in anything we do it matters how we accept them. I think if an idea and the picture that we vision has been born in our mind and we truly desire and see it all the time in our dreams we can make anything possible to bring it to LIFE!
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Petals From Angels Floral Designs?
I create beautiful floral arrangements and every piece comes out so special and unique. I believe my customers always give me energy and the order always turns out its own unique way . It is so interesting that each piece, even though people would like to order same piece that they saw on the website, will never be exactly the same. The uniqueness of nature and the variety in my floral arrangements are what I like about my creations the most! that’s what I like about creations the most!
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I’m I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve had on my Floral Artist journey. My family as well as my friends has always
believed in me. I’m especially thankful for my dad. He has been my eternal cheerleader and has encouraged me to pursue my passion for floral arrangements. I’m also grateful to the late Mary
Falkingham, who took a chance and hired me before I could speak English, mentored me in
floral design, and beyond being a mentor was a wonderful friend. The name of my shop, “Petals from Angels” is in her honor.
