I originally started a clothing line in 2019 before COVID, and it was quickly adorned by many, attracting significant attention. However, I decided to elevate and restructure the brand, focusing on making our pieces more affordable and accessible to a broader clientele. Today, Velvet Muze is proudly worn by women of all ages, allowing them to embrace their unique style and femininity.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like many businesses, we faced challenges, especially during the pandemic. While we saw initial success, I had to make the tough decision to pause and rethink the brand. One of the biggest struggles was finding the balance between maintaining the quality and luxury of Velvet Muze while making the pieces more affordable and accessible to a broader audience. Rebranding and adjusting our business model took time, but ultimately, it was essential for our long-term vision and growth.

At Velvet Muze, I focus on hand-selecting key pieces that celebrate the curves and sensuality of a woman’s body. We’re known for choosing unique fabrics and designs that blend timeless elegance with modern trends. Our recent mini capsule, inspired by ‘Cher in the 70’s,’ is a great example of how our selections empower women to feel glamorous and confident.
I’m most proud of making luxury fashion accessible to a wider audience while maintaining the high quality and allure of our collections. What sets us apart is our commitment to celebrating all women, regardless of age or background, and curating pieces that enhance natural beauty and individuality. Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
One resource that has had a big impact on both my work and personal life is listening to Neville Goddard. His teachings on imagination, manifestation, and self-belief have helped me stay focused and grounded, especially when navigating challenges. His perspective reminds me that we have the power to shape our reality, which has been invaluable as I’ve grown Velvet Muze and pursued my vision. His work continues to inspire me to push boundaries and manifest success.
