Today we’d like to introduce you to Ali Nagy
Hi Ali, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m an award-winning, 15 year agency veteran specializing in strategic planning, media relations and driving domestic and global communications and marketing for healthcare, financial services and consumer tech. I was named one of PRNews’ Top Women in PR in 2022 and have won several PRWeek, SABRE, Bulldog and other industry awards on behalf of clients.
As a seasoned communicator, I thrive on leading my teams and developing creative campaigns to for clients at every stage, from startups to IPO and beyond. I’m passionate about being an empathetic leader and under my leadership, my teams have consistently delivered results and transformed ideas into award-winning realities.
I co-founded and was Head of Communications for Project for a Village, a non-profit that delivers healthcare programs to rural villages in Nepal. Over 10 years, we’ve provided pediatric and women’s healthcare to more than 2,000 villagers.
I have my master’s in Strategic PR from USC and my bachelor’s in Spanish Language from Loyola Marymount University.
I’m a mom of 2 boys, and my husband and I spend most weekends at the Lakewood Rinks ice rink, Lakewood Village Little League baseball field or doing home renovation projects. I’m a wannabe chef, avid reader and exercise enthusiast with a passion for self care and personal growth. I manage the social media and communications for both Lakewood Village Little League and St. Cyprian Parish School.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I spent 15 years working at several PR and Communications agencies where I honed my media relations and communications skills. But while I was involved in the day to day account work, I didn’t have experience on the business side of things. So when I decided to leave my last job and start my own small PR agency, I had to learn the financial and operational side of running a business very quickly. I was lucky to have a few mentors who helped along the way with everything from accounting, legal consulting and even graphic design and photography. It wasn’t easy, but I took it one step at a time and focused on the small wins every day.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
