Today we’d like to introduce you to Lizette Flores
Hi Lizette, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Lizette Flores, affectionately known as “La Inversionista de Los Latinos.” My passion for helping others create generational wealth and financial freedom through real estate education and entrepreneurship has become my life’s mission.
Growing up in Bell, California, I witnessed my parents struggle financially on a single income. My mom, a stay-at-home mother, worked hard to stretch every dollar, while my dad, a groundskeeper at a cemetery, never missed a day of work and put in countless hours. Despite the challenges, they sacrificed to achieve the American dream of homeownership. Inspired by their perseverance, I realized during college that real estate would be a powerful way to serve my community and make a meaningful impact.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped countless individuals jumpstart business opportunities by offering guidance in commercial real estate, leasing, buying and selling businesses, and providing strategic consulting services. My mission is to ensure that the Latino community has the confidence and resources to make informed decisions that lead to lasting financial success.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges I faced was addressing the lack of financial literacy within the Latino community. Many people held onto the belief that having little to no debt was the ultimate financial goal, while cultural differences, language barriers, and a deep-rooted mistrust of financial institutions made it even harder to break through. I frequently encountered individuals who lacked access to accurate information or had been misinformed by well-meaning friends and family.
To overcome these obstacles, I focused on education and building trust within the community. I made it my mission to break down complex financial concepts in a way that resonated culturally, while offering bilingual resources to bridge language gaps. I also built relationships with trusted partners in the financial sector who were committed to serving the Latino community with integrity. By sharing success stories and demonstrating the power of strategic financial planning, I helped individuals see that debt, when managed correctly, could be a tool for building wealth, not something to be feared.
Through patience, persistence, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges we face as a community, I was able to create an environment where people felt empowered to ask questions, seek advice, and take control of their financial futures.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Commercial & Lease Real Estate Agent- Entrepreneur Specialist?
What truly sets me apart is my commitment to education. Every transaction I handle is tailored to the specific needs and goals of my clients. I make sure they fully understand their financial options and strategies, helping them make decisions that build wealth for the future. I’m not just a realtor; I’m a partner in their financial journey, dedicated to ensuring they feel empowered and confident.
I’m most proud of my work educating Latinos on financial and business opportunities. I’ve been featured on Latina TV’s Rompiendo el Silencio, where I shared programs designed to help Latinos start their own businesses. I also host a podcast, De la Pasión a la Prosperidad, where I interview entrepreneurs and clients about their journeys—celebrating their successes and learning from their failures. It’s all about inspiring others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
My brand is built on empowerment, financial freedom, and creating generational wealth through real estate. I’m particularly proud of being named the #3 Commercial Realtor in the Greater DAOR in 2023. This recognition is significant because it reflects my dedication to serving the Latino community in ways that go beyond real estate transactions. My services go hand-in-hand with educating clients, offering personalized consulting, and providing a clear path to financial independence and business success.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I rely on several key resources to stay at the top of my game in the real estate industry. I’m a big fan of LoopNet, CoStar, and MLS, which help me stay informed about market trends and connect with opportunities for my clients, including off-market deals through my personal network. I also enjoy reading The Real Deal blog and listening to BiggerPockets, which provide valuable insights into real estate and investment strategies. Additionally, every Friday, I host a segment on Instagram called Viernes de Bienes Raíces, where I share real estate tips, discuss new laws, and offer strategies for building generational wealth. Whether it’s commercial, residential, or investment property, my goal is to help my audience make informed decisions that align with their financial goals.
