Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Qian
Hi Jessica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
From a young age, I developed a deep passion for music and film. I also loved creating my own clothing combinations, aiming to express my unique style through fashion. In high school, I taught myself photography to capture the world as I saw it and shared my photos on social media.
When I went to college, I chose to major in merchandise marketing. During my university years, I met many friends in the fashion and music industries. I began working for them on small projects, gradually building my experience. By leveraging my strengths in these projects, I became more adept and confident in my professional path. Today, I continue to grow and thrive in my career, doing what I love.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I believe my career journey has been relatively smooth. Of course, I think everyone encounters various challenges along the way, both big and small. However, when I look back after a few years, I see that each obstacle was actually a part of my growth. So, believing in oneself is incredibly important. Every challenge is a stepping stone to becoming better and stronger.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

On the other hand, I’ve also faced my share of bad luck. There have been unexpected setbacks and challenges that seemed insurmountable at the time. However, these moments of bad luck have taught me resilience and adaptability. They pushed me to find creative solutions and to persevere despite difficulties.
Overall, while luck has influenced my journey, it’s been my response to both good and bad luck that has truly shaped my path.
