Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Jude
Hi Jordan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started acting when I was six years old. It became my dream. I started in theatre, and really didn’t move in to film until college. Eventually I left to move to L.A. so I could really give it all I’ve got. I always loved movies, and felt so drawn in by them. The way an actor just let the camera in, and told incredible stories, it always moved me. Well it more than moved me, it inspired my all whole life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, there’s been struggle. It’s full of ups and downs, rejection and failing. The yes’s make the no’s worth it, though. And, the failures have thankfully made my character, without it I would’ve never understood the process of waiting for what’s right for you. I really do believe that what is for you is always coming. Like an unstoppable force pushing the two together. Maybe we call it fate.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
With film I get cast a lot in drama. Film is this place that I feel is my emotional outlet. I guess most people would say I have a big heart, and that it always leads me. I guess that’s something I’m proud of, too. What makes me different is that I’m very true to myself. It’s a quality that’s been lost a lot in our world, and I’m just not afraid of being me. I hope my trademark, in any kind of project, is that I leave it full of my heart.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Honestly everyone that’s believed in me along the way. My family, of course, has been my biggest cheerleaders. There’s also been directors, casting directors, actors that have really stuck their neck out for me. I had really talented teachers, too. It takes a village. Forever grateful to all of those who have believed in me.
