Today we’d like to introduce you to Meital Baroz
Meital, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Bottom line: I’ve become who I was meant to be all along. And you know what? This is obviously not unique to me—it’s available to anyone willing to face life’s challenges or having a need to let go of difficulties. In recent years, I’ve started to see success as the ability to understand and help our minds overcome those. That will define the story, as the reward is rediscovering and enjoying the qualities and gifts we’ve had within us all along.
I’ve always been the sensitive listener, understanding both sides and helping find solutions. A discreet companion for venting and support. Now it’s a strength, but it wasn’t always. At a young age, I thought, “Let’s handle this quickly so I can deal with my own problems.” Being highly sensitive left me overwhelmed. For years, I searched for ways to soothe these tendencies. Discovering hypnotherapy turned my story into a success, giving me tools to balance and release effectively.
I knew hypnosis from entertainment, but as a therapeutic tool? That was new. Intrigued, I attended a lecture. It made sense even to my skeptical mind. The state between waking and sleeping could change perceptions and release emotions – mind-blowing! Reflecting on my life, I realized how helpful this could have been earlier. Despite being a busy interior architect, the experience was so compelling that I decided to enroll in college again to study it further.
In college, I met an amazing mentor whose work I couldn’t doubt. This inspired me to share this powerful tool. After graduating, I practiced hypnotherapy alongside my interior architecture career. When COVID hit, my journey became a catalyst for others. With construction paused, I found purpose in helping others, conducting hundreds of free remote hypnotherapy sessions worldwide during lockdown.
As I built a solid reputation and harnessed my skills to help others, I never went back to design work—though I occasionally miss it. In retrospect, I understand that this path was my true calling all along.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We’ll find the smooth road as we overcome the struggles along the way; that’s, in my opinion, the deal. It’s like simple math; there is a reason the struggle arises. Once we find a way to relax the mind to the point where we can release the accumulated emotional charge, things get lighter. We can then enjoy more positivity, joy, and flow that leads us in a smoother way. A win-win deal, isn’t it?
I have so many incredible stories for you! As for client confidentiality, I’ll share one of mine.
From the very first days of social media, I had all the reasons not to like it. In my twenties, social anxiety in real life was enough for me to deal with. However, as a design business owner, I understood its importance and engaged with it by using photos only. The hypnotherapy business, however, confronted me with a huge obstacle. I couldn’t use the same trick; trust me, I tried. To make a real connection with your audience, you have to show up and share your story and lifestyle so they get to know you better.
Showing up on social media was an enormous challenge for me! It triggered every issue you can imagine, and to overcome the setbacks involved, I uncovered surprising underlying root causes. While it was challenging, it is also liberating once we get there, and it reflects on every aspect of life. Now, I can laugh about owing a major part of my personal growth to Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, and his demanding platforms. So, here’s the deal is: you help the mind let go of difficulties created earlier in life and gain so much in return. Any struggle is like an opportunity to smooth the way.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Sure, I’d love to share more. I specialize in root cause therapy and healing. My practice leverages advanced hypnotic tools to help clients rebuild the confidence they need to succeed in all aspects of life. With a range of certifications in hypnotherapy and related fields, I bring a wealth of expertise to address anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, emotional trauma, and childhood limitations related to self-confidence.
Imagine we could pause for a moment, understand what leads to the current outcome you are not happy or satisfied with, define this loop, and then recondition it. This combination of subconscious work and conscious self understanding empowers people to rewrite their mental narratives, turning limitations into stepping stones and fears into fuel for growth.
What distinguishes my approach is the integration of self-understanding techniques with powerful hypnosis methods. Rather than just managing symptoms, we can actually align the conscious and subconscious minds, uncovering and addressing the root causes of issues. This process brings immediate relief, significant results, and joy to clients as they gain deeper insights into their own minds.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
In my experience, the key for those starting out is to recognize that everyone develops their own unique approach over time. Take me, for instance. I used to be an interior architect for many years, and now I apply that knowledge to hypnotherapy. We know the mind is flexible; it is like a structure we can redesign and reshape. Based on life foundations, experiences, patterns and neural connections we’ve made, over a session we can restructure it, showing the process even when dealing with emotional baggage, emotions, thoughts and energy.
My advice would be to stay open to how your own background and life obstacles can inform your practice. Everyone brings unique experiences to their work, and these can become valuable assets as you develop your approach. Don’t be afraid to draw connections between seemingly unrelated areas of your life and your hypnotherapy practice; you might be surprised at how your past experiences can provide insight and enrich your work. Remember, developing your unique style and method is a gradual process over time. Mentioning the time, one more important piece of advice is to be patient.
