Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashlee Sandoval
Hi Ashlee, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story begins as a flight attendant working full time with no days off. I flew domestic flights continuously around the United States. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen inflight injury I suddenly became disabled, and unemployed for sometime. As an individual who grew up working from the age of sixteen, I did not let that stop me. I knew that even though my recovery would take some time due to surgeries and physical therapies, I never liked the idea of giving up. I have always fought, and worked hard to maintain financial stability for my family and I. My parents immigrated from EL Salvador from the ages of 15 & 18 years old without their parents. They quickly started working and have never stopped since. Thankfully they are soon to retire. I learned all of my work ethics from their example and learned a valuable lesson, everything has a solution but giving up is never the answer. This time for me was no different, because I have always had a passion for photography, entertainment and crowd work. That is how my partner and I decided to pursue towards having a luxury Photo Booth business.
My partner (Miguel Valeriano) has helped me with all the heavy lifting and physical labor, I was unable to perform. However my charismatic personality and charm has won the hearts of many. From booking weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate, and private celebrity events. SMOOTH BOOTH LA has had the pleasure of making every clients idea become a reality. I love making people smile and have fun when they use our Photo Booth. I do everything possible to make them feel comfortable and make their experience effortlessly to obtain long lasting memories every time. Thankfully our business has been blessed and has earned us many positive reviews on Google. Throughout the process, I was also able to pursue my passion within comedy. Which now has lead us to provide our Photo Booth services within organizations affiliated with latino communities and many more.
This was a first hand learning experience on how one door closes another will open.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For starters, not having the physical capability from my left shoulder was a huge disadvantage. But thankfully my amazing support team was always there to assist when needed. Another struggle was obtaining clients as a beginning company. We started by providing our services to family and friends and thankfully throughout our networking, we were able to build our client list and brand.

We provide luxury photo booth services, and we provide a unique photo camper experience, and 360 Photo Booth. We are proud of the relationships we have built in the short time of us starting our business. I would like our readers to know that we provide an effortlessly Photo Booth experience.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is when my parents surprised me with my first dog when I was 8 years old, on St Patricks Day. They gifted me a German Shepard mix border collie who shared his life with me as a best companion up to my college graduation. I named him Junior. He brought me so much joy and happiness, as I grew up. He also provided comfort and security on the toughest days growing up. He was my world.
