Exploring Life & Business with Oleg Korolov of Dom Real Estate Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Oleg Korolov

Hi Oleg, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I came to LA thirteen years ago with $300 in my pocket without knowing the language and anyone, and I fell in love with our city. Now I’m running my boutique real estate brokerage, happily married to the best woman alive, expecting my first child with her and enjoying my life. Of course, a bunch of cool and fun stuff happened over the last thirteen years of me living here in LA.

Happy to share much more fun stuff in an actual interview.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting in a new country is always fun. From learning English from The Simpsons and hanging out with my soccer friends, to hard work of manual labor in moving companies, my journey has been just as challenging as rewarding.

We’ve been impressed with Dom Real Estate Group, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’ve been serving immigrant community for many years, helping people moving to Los Angeles find their homes and build their lives here. It’s been super rewarding and fun as well, and continues to be.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I have few podcasts myself, one about real estate in Los Angeles in Russian, and another about professions and businesses that newcomers could find themselves in our city in Russian and Ukrainian as well. I always listed to something about our city’s history (LA in a minute, LA meekly, etc) or audiobooks, recently a lot of books from retired FBI agents (didn’t think that writing books could be a career path for retired FBI agents, but this seems to be the case).
