Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My professional background is in television, and I spent almost a decade of my career developing and producing unscripted television and documentaries for a variety of the world’s largest streamers. However, my passion was always in food, and in the summer of 2023, I launched Marguerita Kitchen, originally as a place to share recipes and my love of food, cooking, and home entertaining. Now, we are a culinary and lifestyle brand delivering gourmet gift baskets with delicious, ready-to-eat soups, sauces, and sides to customers in the Los Angeles area and Orange County.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Running a small business comes with many challenges. As an entrepreneur and small business owner, you are often times wearing many hats and being pulled in many different directions, which, thankfully, a decade working in reality television has prepared me for! Manufacturing, delivery logistics, and scaling the business are just a few of the challenges we are facing and working through.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice to those just starting out is to just start. Follow your curiosity and creativity, be resourceful, and just keep going!
