Community Highlights: Meet Keegan Kreutzer of Say Less Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keegan Kreutzer.

Keegan Kreutzer

Hi Keegan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For 25 years of my life, I lived selfishly and ignorant to the importance of finding a purpose in life. My journey began on September 20th, 2021, the night before I had the last drink I would have for remainder of my life thus far. Alcohol and drugs controlled my life, leaving me with nothing. When I began my journey in sobriety, I had lost my voice. I had no confidence, self-worth, or any healthy habits. Early on in my journey, I found happiness in the gym. The negative voices in my head were so loud that the only peace I could find was when I worked out. This new coping mechanism remained a staple in my early sobriety. When I was ready to re-enter the world post-treatment, I was dawned with the question of what I was to do for a living. I knew I couldn’t go back to my old career in sales as it wasn’t an environment contusive for early sobriety. My peers recommended I follow a career in something I love. At the time, the only thing I loved to do was working out. So, I took up an interest in becoming a personal trainer. Over the next two years, I would get my credentials in exercise science, build my personal training business from scratch, and start my business, Say Less Fitness, focused on helping men find their purpose and embrace their masculine energy through Fitness, Nutrition, Professional Development, Intimacy Coaching, and Spirituality.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not. But what I have learned is that nothing worthwhile is achieved without some pain in suffering. The biggest struggle I faced was the imposter syndrome, that I am sure many feel when starting a new career or entering a new field of interest. I don’t necessarily have a perfect solution for the imposter syndrome I felt, but I used the lessons I had learned in sobriety, and I can confidently say I do not feel so out of place anymore. When I feel fear or a deep sense of being not good enough to achieve a goal or task, I know that that is the exact goal or task I need to achieve to grow. So, I go headfirst into that challenge eager to level up into someone I never thought I could be.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us a bit more about your business.
Say Less Fitness is a community of like-minded individuals who are eager to find purpose in life. Specifically, we are focused in helping men find their mission in life and embrace their divine masculine. The approach is centered on 5 areas of focus: Fitness, Nutrition, Professional Development, and Intimacy.

I am most proud about this business because it allows me to help others. When I was in my addiction, the idea of helping others seemed trivial. I found that being of service to your fellows is one of the most gratifying experiences, and Say Less allows me the opportunity to do that.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising that most people do not know about me is that I doubt myself constantly. I, like others, am full of fear. Full of fear that others won’t accept me or judge me for my decisions or who I am. I understand this is part of life, though. I cannot let my fears control me. Especially when the ladder is getting the opportunity to make an impact in someone else’s life. Can not quit before the miracle happens.
