Exploring Life & Business with Dr. Kris Nguyen and Dr. Sasha Taroma of Infinite Life Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Kris Nguyen and Dr. Sasha Taroma.

Hi Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Taroma, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers. 
We met in our junior year in our undergraduate program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. We started dating in 9/2016 and then got married on 9/9/23! After Hawaii, we both moved to the Bay Area to go to Life Chiropractic College West to become Doctors of Chiropractic. As students, we had a lofty goal of opening up practice as soon as we graduated. We dedicated all of our free time outside of schoolwork, consuming ourselves with learning about business and communication. We were both the leaders of the school’s club of business management, growth, and marketing. This allowed us to connect with successful doctors around the nation, visiting their offices, shadowing, and eventually interning with them. The mentors that guided us throughout our schooling process continued into our professional lives, helping us build our practice up until this very day! When Kris graduated from Grad school in December 2019, he came back to Orange County believing that he would open up before Sasha graduated; then, COVID-19 happened. This led to many setbacks, from obtaining the finances to signing a lease and even reaching out to people to help with the buildout process. However, this time, this allowed us to continue networking and building our community around our soon-to-be office. We opened our doors on 10/10/20! Since then, we have served hundreds of families together and have been blessed to be a part of so many people’s health journey. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I explained a little in the previous statement. Covid put a big stop to our plans to open earlier, however with the help of our mentors, friends, and family, we were able to push through and make our dream of opening our practice come true. Once opening we had a boom in business! Some things we were constantly challenged with in the beginning were roles. We kept stepping on each other’s toes, and it felt like we were not supporting each other as well as we should have. At the end of the day, we share all the patients, and we also win when each other win. We had to learn when to step down and let the other person take control, and also when to step up! Figuring out each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and love languages within both our relationship and business continue to be something we improve on. Also, hiring and managing employees were a big challenge. Never owning a business; it was pretty awkward handling your own employees! With time and experience, we have learned to manage our team better and be the leaders our team and community deserve.

Infinite Life Chiropractic is a Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic office located in the heart of Orange County, dedicated to revolutionizing holistic health. Our ultimate goal is to empower our friends, family, and the world to live unrestricted and free from limitations. 

Specializing in neck analysis and adjustments without any twisting, cracking, or popping, our practice utilizes 3D X-rays for precise and effective patient management. This approach allows us to address a wide range of health concerns, including headaches/migraines, vertigo/dizziness, neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, meniere’s disease, fibromyalgia, and more.

Dr. Sasha loves to bake on her free time, and Dr. Kris loves to golf. Together, we love to go hiking, overlanding, and to eat/cook delicious food.
