Hi Sam, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today. 
My name is Sam Hajighasem, and I am an entrepreneur, podcaster, and business advisor. 

I founded Venture Podcasting, one of the top Podcast Production Companies, focused on helping businesses (B2B, SaaS, and Tech) and their marketing teams to establish their brand on social media platforms with a revenue-generating podcast. 

How it all began: 

My journey started when I was 16 years old. I started as a self-taught electronic music composer, which evolved through my bachelor’s in Film and TV and a master’s in Sound Design for movies and audio engineering. This academic path, culminating with a degree from American University in Washington, D.C., fostered my passion for storytelling. Despite gaining valuable experience as an audio engineer at a radio station and a sound designer in a media production firm, I felt unfulfilled and yearned for more. This realization spurred my desire to embark on my own business venture. 

At the age of 23, with a few thousand dollars of savings, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey as a freelancer to have control over my time and schedule, aiming to build my business. Initially intrigued by drop shipping, I experienced several setbacks and failed in my early endeavors, which led to a pivotal realization: my strength lay in the skills I had honed—storytelling through content. This insight came at a time when the demand for content creation and the content creator economy was burgeoning, highlighting this path as both viable and valuable. 

In addition, the advent of COVID-19 marked a turning point, as it changed every aspect of our lives, eliminating traditional networking opportunities such as trade shows and events. This shift led me to consider podcasting, recognizing its potential for building authentic and deep connections. My past freelancing experience showed me that podcasting could help businesses establish such relationships. Furthermore, the challenge of finding time to record social media content to promote my brand online led me to appreciate the value of repurposing podcast episodes into a wealth of content, including social media clips, YouTube videos, and SEO-optimized blogs, thereby maximizing the impact of a single hour of recording. After experiencing multiple business failures and years of learning, along with self-educating in marketing and honing my skills in storytelling and audio/video editing, I founded Venture Podcasting in 2020 with a few purposes: 

1. Helping businesses create new relationships and build a new way of lead generation by interviewing their ideal clients.

2. Helping businesses establish their brand online and build a fan-based community of listeners with high-quality and informative content. We all know online marketing and social media are here to stay.

3. Saving time and money by requiring less time (maximum 1-2 hours per week) from busy founders, CEOs, and marketing teams and giving them the most output by repurposing their podcast into high-quality content pieces.

4. Giving businesses a database of information from their fans and podcast lovers. We all know the power of data and information. Building a subscription list of your community and fans and owning that information is very valuable.

What we do for businesses extends beyond mere editing or publishing content. We assist them in building an online brand with sustainable lead generation over time. When you release a video or podcast, it continues to provide benefits indefinitely.

Helping companies, particularly those aiming to expand their brand online, recognize the critical role of content creation. Despite the growing awareness among many businesses about the potential benefits, a substantial number still struggle to grasp the full importance of investing in content. This is especially true in the B2B sector on social media, which remains relatively unsaturated and ripe with opportunities. In the digital era we navigate today, the ability to produce engaging content and tell compelling stories is indispensable for connecting with audiences and fostering brand loyalty.
