Meet Leila Ciancaglini of RLC Talent Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leila Ciancaglini.

Leila Ciancaglini

Leila, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I arrived in Los Angeles to study English, I explored new opportunities. While in Los Angeles, was fortunate enough to meet Wendy, a friend of mine who worked as a television show writer. Through this friendship, I was introduced to a diverse group of people. I just completed my business studies back in Argentina, I received an unexpected job offer from a company based in Los Angeles. I accepted the position.

However, things didn’t go as planned for this job, so. It was during this time that an idea struck my head – why not start my own modeling agency?

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and I took it upon myself to make it happen; I reached out to various beer companies such as Tecate Beer and Budweiser to pitch them an opportunity for collaboration. In September 2002, successfully landed my first account with Tecate Beer – marking the beginning of my venture into the world of modeling agencies. Began diligently attending conventions and networking events to expand my clientele base further. My dedication paid off; soon enough, more brands recognized the value that I brought to the table.

In addition to modeling contracts, expanded my services by establishing an acting agency within my company. The demand for talent grew rapidly as industry, I discovered fresh faces and promising acting talent. I expanded beyond beer brands to encompass various industries, including fashion, beauty, and entertainment.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The truth is I can’t complain. I work and work with many large companies, and it’s getting better of course I think that to answer your question, keeping the agency stable has been a challenge, but here I continue to grow more every day

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about RLC Talent Agency?

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice is that you should first take the time to explore your interests, skills, and talents. Reflect on what truly brings you joy and fulfillment. Think about activities or subjects that excite you and come naturally to you. This self-discovery process will help you identify your passion. Once you’ve discovered your passion, dedicate yourself to gaining knowledge and honing your skills in that particular area. Embrace learning opportunities, take courses, seek mentors who can guide you, and never stop improving yourself.

Next, take the time to brainstorm and create your own idea. Let your imagination soar and think outside the box. Consider how you can leverage your passions and skills to make a unique contribution or solve a problem in the world.

Believe in yourself fully! Have faith in your abilities and trust that with dedication and perseverance, you can achieve great things. Surround yourself with positive influences who support and encourage your ambitions. Remember that setbacks are a part of any journey, but they are also opportunities for growth.

Finally, channel the belief in yourself into tangible action. Success rarely comes without hard work and effort. Be proactive in pursuing your goals, take risks when necessary, embrace challenges as learning experiences, and keep pushing forward even when faced with obstacles.

Remember that success is not only measured by external achievements but also by personal growth along the way. Stay true to yourself throughout this journey of discovering what you like to do, as it will ultimately lead to a more satisfying life experience.
