Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Taylor.

Lisa Taylor

Lisa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a seeker, a guide, and an eternal student, my path has been varied, challenging, and rewarding.

I’ve learned to master change over the last few years and how to guide others through their own transformations. Of course, this has been due to massive changes in my own life…

While building a successful marketing company, many life-changing experiences quickly hit me, including overnight parenting, divorce, moving across the state, and death, which opened up my path to personal spiritual self-discovery and acknowledgment of my spiritual gifts.

I was so broken down at this point and I knew that it was time to heal and dig into the shadowy aspects that I have been repressing for many years.

I took on Kundalini yoga teacher training where I emptied all the garbage in my subconscious, meanwhile I attended psychotherapy, reiki sessions, and soundbaths weekly. I studied tarot and astrology in a deeper way, learning more about my purpose, my soul, and my strengths.

I felt intent on addressing all parts of me – mind, body, heart, and soul.

Finally, I went on a trip, my own version of “Eat, Pray Love,” which ended up being a big spiritual initiation. I traveled solo for two and a half months stopping in Bali to attend Shamanic training; continuing to various parts of Australia meanwhile growing and learning along the way.

Through this process, I learned who I truly am.

I acknowledged my spiritual legacy – to be a changemaker, catalyst, and guide for others as they realize their own purpose and potential and shine in their authenticity.

This comes in many forms – postpartum doula care, holistic life coaching, yoga, and healing work.

I create the space to slow down, feel safe enough to examine the patterns, the shadows, and the spaces where we can get caught acting from our smaller selves.

Healing is the way forward.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A big struggle I had for many years was a fear of sharing my personal life with my clients and felt as though they only hired me to make them money and to be robotic about it.

The marketing industry, which I was a part of, is all about transactions – how many views, clicks and likes garner attention, and this equates to success for many businesses and people.

Quality takes a backseat to being on top of trends which move faster than our human mind can really absorb and comprehend.

Learning to live and be in a more balanced way incorporating both masculine – action-oriented, fiery, commanding with feminine principles – flow, allowing things to come to me based on how I shared myself with the world, working with cycles – means that I had a more full and complete approach to life.

This also means using my intuition as a guide for my life which includes my business.

Once I really opened up to that, things came to me with little effort.

Money continues to flow to me, and the right people show up to help along the path.

I have amazing clients.

We are truly a good fit for one another.

And this makes for a harmonious relationship and a peaceful life.

That’s not to say that there are no challenges.

No.

It’s more that I can rely on my intuitive intelligence to get me through in a way that the logical mind cannot.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My organization specializes in guiding people through change.

We believe you are meant to shine, which means to honor all parts of yourself – mind, body, heart, and soul.

Life is ever-changing. I specialize in support as a postpartum doula, life coach, healer, and yoga instructor.

We are a hands-on, boutique organization that invests our one-on-one time with clients to ensure they are supported through their big life changes – growing their family, transitioning into or out of a career path, growing your business.

We provide and hold space for you to shine your authentic self.

It all begins with you.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Networking is great and always surprising. I’ve found collaborators, friends, colleagues and clients by walking outside my door and going to the local coffee shop as well as attending formal networking events.

Be ready to connect with the people that are desiring to connect with you.

You do this by remaining positive and open.
