Vera, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a wellness lifestyle content creator and social media coach with 130,000+ total followers. I have generated tens of millions of views and worked with established brands, such as Nespresso, JC Penney, CeraVe, Santa Monica College, and more. I am now helping creators & entrepreneurs grow on social media and reach their goals!
I have been creating content since April 2018 – with a whopping eight years of experience. I first used social media as a creative outlet for my character channel Nerd & Blondy on YouTube with 114 subscribers, which took me four years to gain. That project seemed to go nowhere, but it taught me the most valuable skills of scripting, filming, and editing my videos. I then had three more channels, like four other accounts across various social media platforms, until I finally started posting on Instagram reels.
A video I posted where I felt all my days blending into one, so I decided to go on a 5 a.m. run went viral, amassing 1M+ views. I shared more content that showcased my productive & wellness-focused lifestyle, and my online community began to grow. 2k, 9k, and 18k!!! It was crazy, and it was just the beginning.
In two years, I have grown our community to 130,000+ followers and successfully launched various personal development and creator courses, like Creator Camp 1.0, which teaches creators the art of creating engaging short videos to grow and start making money on social media!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges I faced is feedback from other people. When I started creating self-growth focused content, and it started going viral, I felt like there was A LOT of input on what I should be doing, wearing, eating, who I should be hanging out with, and etc. And that felt like… a lot!
Gradually, I became more accepting internally to the opinions of other people, which is a struggle a lot of beginner creators face. Every time I saw a comment or a DM I did not like, I asked myself what I did not like about it. And oftentimes, it was the fact that the person did not agree with me – that’s a very human thing.
So, surely but surely, I opened up my heart and mind and grew my community, and worked with some incredible clients along the way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a content creator and social media specialist. I specialize in helping creators and entrepreneurs grow their audience online. I am most proud of the results my clients have achieved. I launched a social media mentorship a month ago, and the transformations of my clients have been unbelievable.
I have four people in the mentorship, where we have one 1-on-1 call per week, weekly learning materials and challenges, as well as one weekly mastermind. It currently consists of a real estate agent, relationship coach, influencer, and entrepreneur, and it is so fulfilling and interesting watching all of these creators learn from each other and grow their businesses.
The relationship coach had a goal of boosting her visibility, and one of her videos is almost at 4 million views, followed by many over 100k+ views. The influencer just secured a partnership with a very prominent brand having under 5k followers. The real estate agent grew his followers by 20%, and the entrepreneur not only boosted his sales by increasing visibility in his clothing brand account, but he also realized he wanted to grow a personal brand and has amassed thousands of followers in a very short amount of time.
Social media and coaching are some of my absolute greatest passions in life!
