Today we’d like to introduce you to Lucy Crivelli.
Hi Lucy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been a winding one, filled with unexpected challenges and accomplishments. Creating a sense of community has always been important to me.
As a Mexican-born, LA-raised immigrant daughter of immigrants, the mentality of hustle and heart has been my biggest motivator through life. My family and I traveled to California from Mexico, where I established strong foundations and cultivated a profound understanding of my role as a Mexican dreamer. Throughout my journey, the shared experiences and strong connections I’ve built with others along the way have continued to shape my path forward.
After graduating college (and working a few odd jobs), I finally landed my first position at one of the largest sporting brands in the world, Adidas, where I learned the ropes of the industry and honed my skills.
After a few years, I strongly desired to strike out on my own and started freelancing as a marketing consultant. It has had its challenges, but I persevered and gradually built a loyal client base that allowed me to evolve into a creative agency. As the digital landscape grows, I adapt my skills to stay relevant and embrace new technologies and strategies.
This also allows me to create space for my community to find creative opportunities.
Today, I’m proud to say that I run a successful Creative Marketing agency, Tomorrow Isn’t Promised. We work with a diverse range of clients to help them achieve their business goals across fashion, sneakers, tech, and cannabis.
Overall, my journey has been a testament to the power of determination and adaptability, and I’m excited to see where it takes me next.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey certainly hasn’t been a smooth road. While there have been many rewarding moments and successes, there have also been significant challenges and obstacles along the way. As a Latina in the marketing industry, I’ve encountered my share of biases and stereotypes that I’ve had to overcome. Starting my own business was a leap of faith. I’ve faced the uncertainty of inconsistent income and the struggle to establish a client base; it hasn’t always been a perfect picture.
Adapting to the constantly evolving digital landscape requires continuous learning and adaptation.
And the balancing act of honoring my cultural heritage while also integrating into a new environment presented its own set of challenges. However, it’s these very challenges that have shaped me and made me appreciate the journey even more. They’ve taught me resilience and the importance of celebrating both the highs and lows on the path to success.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5-10 years, our industry will see significant shifts towards greater cultural authenticity, inclusivity, and the integration of emerging technologies like AI and AR. The cannabis sector, in particular, is set to expand with increasing legalization efforts. Sustainability and ethics will remain vital, requiring brands to showcase genuine commitment.
