Melody, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up in Hong Kong, I was always captivated by the vibrant cultures and creative scenes in the US. After high school, I pursued higher education at University and then gained experience working in London and Sydney before making my way to the USA. I consider myself fortunate to blend these diverse influences into my Jewelry business, allowing me to create something truly special.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As much as I am very positive, there were definitely struggles along the way; individuals with less ambition might not always understand or support entrepreneurs or the transformative lifestyle that accompanies significant changes like relocating abroad. Adapting to new environments becomes crucial and I’ve learned to view them as opportunities for personal growth.

I am the owner of Melody Law Jewelry. I believe beauty and style are more than just external qualities. They are a reflection of the inner self – Our pieces are not just accessories but an aesthetic expression of your personality and style. Not only do these pieces add an extra touch of elegance to any outfit, but they also serve as a reminder to practice self-love and indulge in life’s little luxuries.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I firmly believe in the power of hard work and understanding that success comes from putting in the effort. I have been very fortunate to meet people along the way, often at the most unexpected times, who have seen the hard work I’ve put in and opened doors for me. I believe, though, that a part of this has been me putting in the work first.
