Meet Claudia Morales of CM InStyle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Morales.

Claudia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve achieved my goals with the grace of my Lord. Let me walk you through my story….

Twenty-two years ago I started recruiting for an awesome friend who is the owner of a high-end boutique in San Diego. At the same time, I started my degree program at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise (FIDM) in Los Angeles. This was due to the passion and love I had for fashion.

After graduating at the top of my class, I acquired a few journey’s as a merchandiser, agent broker in the fashion industry where I acquire more experience. In 2002, I landed a role as a senior product developer with a well known high-end luxurious beauty company. Stayed faithfully for the next eight years.

As time goes on, my advancement in the Recruiting Industry has shown to be successful. My recruiting firm was established in 2010. CM InStyle launched did not take place until 2013. Since then, I’ve extensively traveled throughout for developing and sourcing purposes. All this accomplishment would not have been possible, if not for my organized team members. Although we all work from various distances, it’s an excellent approach to balance our lifestyle in today’s world.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Prayer will get me through the most difficult situations. Anybody in business will agree that it is not a smooth road in your first years. Managing a business is difficult and challenging. The struggle was part of the business, but today it’s helpful. Challenges will always be there, but the experiences early in business has helped me navigate through new challenges wisely.

CM InStyle is a home-based business. My employees work from different locations. We meet once in a week through video resources. Working from home is lively (and it has its challenges); it beats traffic, car maintenance, and sitter (when traveling I still pay for dog sitting). The challenges are not common. However, when a problem occurs due to unforeseen situations from a client, after we’ve investments time, efforts and resources, it hurts our employees. We gracefully work through the challenges – I have a great understanding team!

Please tell us about CM InStyle.
CM InStyle is a direct-hire recruiting firm that has their primary focus in the Fashion Industry which includes retail, wholesale and distribution. We’re committed to managing employees. We plan to expand to temporary opportunities soon. We’ve served other industries functions such as Healthcare, IT and General office Positions.

What sets us apart from other firms is our ability to understand our client’s brands and timely position. We know how essential it is to send the right match for our clients. We’re also aware of the fact that our client’s needs can be of an urgent situation and we take heed to that. At CM InStyle, we’re committed to prompt responses and timely solutions.

More importantly, I’m proud of my team as well as our passion for excellence. We’ve passion for what we do, and for that, we set a high standard. We ensure that we invest our resources in things that are beneficial such as training, classes and also making sure we keep abreast with popular activities related to the recruiting and staffing industry.

One of the outstanding things that distinguish CM InStyle from her competitors is efficient and reliable customer service. I’ve taken the time to design and keep in order the full customer service experience package. Briefly, we coordinate a visit with our client, tour their facility and meet with the hiring manager to fully assimilate the working environment. This enables us to recruit, evaluate, and qualify qualified candidate who possesses the right tangible and intangible skills required.

We travel to our clients and use all sorts of tools to screen candidates that meet the prerequisite. Occasionally, we travel to meet potential job seekers, only if they meet the criteria and client are ready to move forward. It’s a process but this has been a huge success at our firm, especially retaining candidates.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Too many to draft on a sheet of paper. I do, however, have the proudest moments. My mentor and facilitator from up above! without Him, I could not have achieved the level of success acquired through a tremendous amount of effort, teamwork and long hours. As mentioned previously, my faith and a wonderful team have been the proudest unconditionally support all around throughout the entire process. I am lucky to have a wonderful team – words aren’t enough to express my gratitude.
