Today we’d like to introduce you to DayQuan Crawford.
Hi DayQuan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I start working with a company who put a fashion show together with me working in the back of the house.
I feel like I got to where I am now because of hard work and dedication & I made the right relationships in the industry. Be consistent with my goals and my work.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I had many struggles along the way, with one figuring out was I supposed to be a stylist? Or was that God given or was it me.
Being confident in my work & not questioning myself.
Not comparing myself to other people & listening to my own opinions.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a personal & editorial wardrobe stylist,
I specialize in personal & editorial styling models, everyday people, film & television,
I am known for styling and being a creative director,
I am mostly proud of myself for sticking to my goals and follow my dreams,
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I have learned that you have to live for today and be grateful for the life. And following your dreams and trust your gut.
