Today we’d like to introduce you to Jake Diaz. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Jake Diaz aka The Kidventurist is a 13-year-old actor and social media influencer. Jake has Asperger’s, however, is showing that he is a growing leader in the teen area of social media influencing. Jake has a strong audience and focuses on his niche which is FUN travel adventures and super cool locations!
His recent film “Watch Over Me” was nominated for Best Thriller by the HollyShort Film Festival
Jake also recently wrapped his new Horror Film “The Dead Place” directed by Michael Pickle and featuring David a Howard Thornton, best known for his role as Art the Clown from Terrifier 1 & 2.
Jake is an adventure-seeking, Xtreme Sports kind of boy who is always happiest when socializing with friends or on set delivering roles for a wide range of characters.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Jake was adopted after being abandoned at birth and had a tough start to life. He has been a headstrong, determined boy and fought his way to the place he’s at today. He also has a loving and supporting family standing behind him that helps lift him. He is such a hard-working and kind-hearted boy who has really put in much of effort to get where he is.
Jake would love to start a nonprofit and also speak at school staff meetings to teach school personnel that just because a kid learns differently doesn’t mean they have a learning disability. They don’t always need an Aide by them or to be placed in Special Education. Many times, they just need a different learning environment or learning style.
In the four years since Jake left public school and started a homeschooled way of learning, he has gone from a failing student to almost straight A’s! He is a successful paid actor who has been earning a decent paid income since the age of 9.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Aside from being an actor, Jake is also a social media influencer. He has also recently partnered with some fun attractions, including Legoland, Meow Wolf, Hammonds Candies, The Maven Hotel and much more!
Jake just became one of the youngest Influencers to partner with “The Nines” Hotel which is one out of 120 Hotels worldwide in “The Luxury Collection”.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
“My mom is my mentor and best friend. She has taught me that if someone feels right or probably is and the same for anything that feels wrong. Meet people who FEEL RIGHT and guide you properly. The best relationships are supportive, honest, kind and genuine. Those are the people who will always be the best mentors, friends and people to network with.” ~~~ Jake Diaz
