Hello, My name is Rickell but you can call me “Taco Diva” I am dedicated to serving great food with genuine hospitality and good vibes! Although life has taken me through many ventures…Catering is my forte and passion. I launched my exclusive catering business 1/1/2016 with a focus on Taco Bars. I’ve expanded my business to Festival Vending, Private Catering, Weekly or Specialty Meal Prep and coming soon an Extraordinary Spice Collection. I hand-curate all of my menus to your specific desires and restrictions. People say I’m crazy because I locally source the BEST quality ingredients, the first four years in business I HAND grated cheese for the Taco Bars, as you can see I really aim for the “WOW” factor. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being that I am the only person running my business, I wear many hats. I am the company Cook, Manager, consultant, social media content creator, accountant repair person, etc. Yes! It’s a one-woman show. This has been a long challenging journey but it is my absolute passion so it doesn’t feel like I am doing a lot of work. I enjoy it, very rewarding.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
While running my catering business, I have also managed to stay loyal to the Medical field. I am an Office Manager in my favorite specialty, Dermatology. I am known for having a warm and fuzzy personality, easygoing and ALWAYS willing to learn new things as well as teach others. I am most proud of my achievements in both my professional and entrepreneurial career I have grown in both areas. When I am wearing my corporate hat, I love to make people look and feel their best by creating treatment plans for their skin and following through with them for the final results. When I am wearing my catering that I love to see people’s eyes light up when they take the first bite! And more importantly when they ask for seconds and 3rds and a to-go box. Very rewarding ☺️🌮
What are your plans for the future?
At the moment OMGDEMTACOS LLC is focusing on private catering and outdoor festivals/ events. An Extraordinary Spice Collection is coming soon, also Brick and mortar plans are in the making.
