Community Highlights: Meet Sina Azari of CATALYST

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sina Azari.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was fortunate to educate and learn about financial services in my early twenties when I became a licensed insurance agent. Choosing to specialize in mortgage protection, I quickly correlated my clients that needed the largest policies also had more real estate equity, many with more than one property. Witnessing their successes, I decided to obtain my California Real Estate broker’s license and offer real estate services as an addition to growing my insurance client’s portfolios. As their real estate purchases and transactions continued to grow, over a short time, so did the need of having an experienced team to manage their properties, hence the introduction of Lyst PM, expanding our client’s solutions to also include property management At CATALYST, we insure, invest and manage.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
“Smooth” is all perspective. When in our darkest of moments, the smallest of challenges can create large mental blockers. As I matured in business and overcame more unknowns and learned from mistakes, I learned to create advantage out of adversity. Hence, it wasn’t smooth then, but looking back, the struggles were all lessons and turned out to be wins vs losses.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about CATALYST?
Our organization is built on culture, leverages technology in our favor, relies on automation and has unique recession-proof positioning. We offer insurance, real estate and property management. In a recession market, insurance sales grow, in inflation markets, real estate is booming and regardless of the market, owners need tenants and renters need a rental, so our property management division is also poised for continuous growth. This is all strategy, however, our company’s success is credited to our staff, agents and leadership teams. I recognize the value of hard-working people, I also believe that great people are hard to find and even harder to keep. Hence, we focus on continued development, training and investing in our staff’s professional growth. As the effectiveness and skills of our teams continue to advance, our service and value to our clients will also increase, yielding a win-win. It’s a different model and being a differentiator in today’s era of business is on its own, an element of survival.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
