Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Finerman, M.D.
Dr. Finerman, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
A third generation physician and native of West LA, I trained at UCLA after medical school in Chicago.
I am an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA in Head and Neck Surgery and have lectured on many topics including allergy/sinus disorders, hearing and balance problems as well as routine problems of the ears, nose and throat. I treat patients from pediatric to adult.
I am Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA), the International Surgical Sleep Society, Cedars-Sinai Voice Center and Cedars-Sinai Sinus Center.
My office provides individualized allergy testing, hearing and balance testing, microbiology and fiberoptic endoscopy. Up-to-date technology is key in our office and we have the latest in CT scanning for the sinuses which creates three-dimensional x-ray images of the anatomy giving us valuable information to diagnose disease and plan for appropriate treatment.

Medicine is always changing, advancing and that offers many challenges. Staying up-to-date on the latest medical and surgical options for my specialty to benefit my patients is always at the forefront.

Now as a solo practitioner, I have benefited from being in practice with my father for many years as well as practicing with several talented physicians so I have been able to learn from others’ training and experiences as well as my own.
I am often complemented on having a capable and caring Patient Care team who are great in helping make sure our patients are pleased with their encounter. Patients often tell me I am the most thorough physician they have seen and my office is the most welcoming.

The diversity of Los Angeles has been a benefit growing up here and working with many specialists as well as general doctors. It affords me the opportunity to build a network of talented colleagues to help my patients.
