Benjamin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My career in sales began early on, as I was inspired by my father who was a serial entrepreneur and would take me to work with him early on. From a young age, I was fascinated by the world of sales and the thrill of closing deals. I saw the impact that sales could have on businesses and the potential for personal growth and success in this field. Throughout my early professional years, I honed my skills and developed my own unique selling style. Years later, I am proud to say that I have built a successful business centered around sales and technology and I am grateful for the opportunities that this field has provided me with.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges to businesses around the world. Many companies had to shut down temporarily, while others had to completely overhaul their operations to adapt to new health and safety protocols. The shift to remote work was a significant challenge for our businesses, as we had to struggle to maintain productivity and communication with our employees.

In addition to these challenges, businesses have also had to navigate changes in consumer behavior and demand. With widespread uncertainty about the future, many consumers have become more cautious with their spending, leading to a slowdown in sales.

Despite these difficulties, our business has also shown remarkable resilience and resourcefulness in the face of the pandemic. We have been able to quickly pivot to new products or services, adopt new technologies, and find creative ways to connect with our customers. By doing so, we have demonstrated the importance of adaptability and innovation in the business world.

As you know, we’re big fans of Zentap. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My friend and I were searching for an investment property in Los Angeles and encountered numerous real estate agents who had extensive experience in the industry but lacked a digital or social media presence. Despite their interest in utilizing these platforms, all of them expressed that they simply didn’t have the time, knowledge or resources to create and post content regularly. This was when the idea for Zentap emerged.

We created a solution to automate the content generation and provide real estate agents with access to local market data, market insights, marketing videos, flyers, and more. Our platform takes care of posting and managing their social media pages, so agents can concentrate on what they do best, selling and closing deals. Our services are affordably priced and provide real estate agents with a cost-effective way to increase their online visibility.

Recently, we have began to offer our marketing and branding services to other verticals as well and have expanded beyond just real estate agents.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
One of the most significant lessons is the importance of preparedness and flexibility in the face of unexpected events. The pandemic has demonstrated that even the most well-planned systems and processes can be quickly disrupted, and it has shown the need for organizations to be able to adapt and respond to new challenges quickly.

Another important lesson is the importance of digital transformation and technology. The pandemic has accelerated the shift to remote work and online commerce, highlighting the need for businesses to embrace technology and digital solutions to remain competitive and serve customers effectively, which is why we feel that Zentap is just getting started!
