Today we’d like to introduce you to Shala Rosa.
Hi Shala, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
A Canadian – American subconscious surrealist artist, I was trained by my father who he was an impressionist artist as well supported by him till finished my study at the Kunst Academy in Düsseldorf Germany… now living in South Cali still continue working on my art project and exhibition.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not a smooth road yet very difficult. Lots of obstacles. The art I chose to work on was very unfamiliar to my audiences specially North American audiences. But no matter what for the love of my chosen one I continued and never gave up.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My art is my work, besides getting commissioned and lots of exhibitions around the United States and Canada I do shows in Europe through my friends like Santiago Riberio as well as others in the European countries
I am also the author of 3- books. In the same category of art (subconscious surrealist). Am very proud so far been recognized by many historians and art specialists to be known as the most intense surrealist artist at the center of the 21 Century.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
There are a few geniuses were around the world whom I admired and was and still are their followers.
Federico Fellini with his mesmerizing movies was the first amazing mentor which opened the door of fantastic visionary movies
Salvador Dali with his Masterpieces created Dali-ism revolution.
And the last but not least is Andre Breton with his books.
These three are creators of 20th Century Renaissance which still continues.
