My story began when I was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2016. Frustrated with conventional medicine, I began to look for alternative and natural health solutions to heal my body and improve my well-being.
I started using “photobiomodulation” (otherwise known as red light therapy) at my doctor’s office and it completely changed the way he felt. Trips to the doctor’s office became expensive and the only consumer red light devices costed over $2,000. I quickly recognized that there was a gap in the market to provide high-quality, medical-grade red light therapy direct to consumers. He assembled a team of health experts to create the first Vital Red Light.
I founded Vital Red Light with a mission to make people happier and healthier through the use of light therapy products. We launched during the COVID-19 pandemic with the goal of helping people enhance their immunity, empower their at-home health and wellness routine, and thrive during a difficult time.
Our company is based on the principle of preventive healthcare and we believe that red light therapy is a natural and non-invasive way to boost the immune system, fight stress, and reverse aging. We also believe in the importance of balance in achieving optimal health and wellness, and that light plays a crucial role in that balance. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Vital Red Light has been quite the rollercoaster ride, let me tell ya! Creating a medical-grade, affordable and safe red light therapy device was no easy feat. The biggest struggle initially was creating a high-quality and affordable red light therapy device that was also safe for consumers to use, which required extensive research and development, as well as testing and validation from third parties. It took a lot of trial and error, research and testing before we got it just right.
Marketing was a big hurdle too since not many people know about red light therapy yet. But, it’s been a very rewarding educating people on the benefits of our products and how they can improve their overall health and well-being.
The biggest challenge (but also an opportunity) was launching company during the COVID-19 pandemic — as it affected the supply chain and logistics, shipping delay, unexpected costs. But it also presented an incredible opportunity for us to reach more people who were looking for ways to enhance their immunity and improve their overall health during these uncertain times.
Despite the difficulties, the positive impact our products have had on people’s lives, from all around the world, has made it all worth it. Hearing from our customers about how red light therapy has helped them on their unique health journey is truly motivating. The gratitude and inspiration we receive from our customers make it a humbling and rewarding experience.
