Inspiring Conversations with Aaron Stauber of Stauber Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Stauber. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Aaron Stauber, Doctor of Chiropractic, suffered from debilitating migraines as a child and into adulthood. As an elite athlete, he played Division 1 basketball at the University of Minnesota and made it to the Final Four his senior season. He was diagnosed with 2 herniated discs in his low back enduring horrendous low back pain. He has experienced multiple concussions and nauseating, terrifying vertigo. He’s experienced whiplash from motor vehicle accidents and separated his shoulder. Chiropractic care, while often aggressive and scary, was his only relief.

As a chiropractic student, he sought to find gentler, more effective and precise ways of delivering care while avoiding drugs and/or surgery. He wanted patients to look forward to treatment rather than fear it.

Through years of research and refinement, Dr. Stauber uncovered a deeper level of structural tissue damage that to date, has gone ‘untouched’ by traditional manual therapy methods.

Combining Precision Spinal care with targeted soft tissue therapy and movement concepts has produced results that are effective, natural, and gentle.

His search to find answers for his own healing has allowed him to empathize with the sufferings of others while providing reproducible solutions.

The Stauber Procedure is constantly evolving and expanding to deliver top-notch results that are: Gentle, Precise and Efficient.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Thinking outside the box has to be the most important factor for my practice. I’ve always looked for new and different ways of approaching a problem. In school we are given a framework to start with when working with someone, but no two people are ever alike. Digging deeper at what is often right in front of us and finding a new solution can be super rewarding.

Early in practice, I recognized I could consistently help patients get to a certain point of improvement and then plateaued. In order to break that threshold I knew I needed to look beyond what I was doing and wanted to be more comprehensive with my treatment approach.

This principle of thinking outside the box and really dissecting (figuratively) my work helped me discover an area of tissue that hadn’t been addressed, or at least I had completely missed it. This opened a whole new world not just for me but for patients that were stuck in their process of getting better and really healing.  People dealing with chronic injuries that are still lingering can often see significant improvements in a relatively short time simply because these areas have never received this sort of attention.

We’ve been impressed with Stauber chiropractic, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’ve been in practice for over two decades and really focus on a holistic approach. We believe it is very important to get a strong background on each individual and take as much time as needed to find solutions.   We take the time to learn and listen about their movement patterns, their aches and pains and how they live their lives. We want to know what their goals are, both short-term and long-term. We utilize a wide range of techniques from soft tissue to cranial work, traditional adjusting to advanced upper cervical methods. We have developed different remodeling techniques for tissue around the spine and head for individuals dealing with long-term chronic pain issues, as well as movement disorders. There’s no one size fits all when it comes to our practice and we are very grateful to be able to work with everyone that we get a chance to. Most people really want to just feel better and our job is to help them get there.
