Today we’d like to introduce you to Vas Priebe.
Hi Vas, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey in wellness began almost 17 years ago when I had my first MS “attack” and from that day forward, my life plans, or lack thereof, took a new form. Alongside traditional medicine and treatment, I quickly started with a nutritionist and a psychologist to help support my healing. I realized very early on that while traditional medical treatment is helpful, it’s not enough to heal. To heal, especially when you’re very sick, you need to take a holistic approach and that means utilizing all the parts of medicine – both eastern and western, alternative and traditional, allopathic and homeopathic. Rather than pitting the two worlds against each other, I chose to synthesize the two in a way that works for me and my body and I’ve had fantastic results.
After my experience in going from place to place, city to city, I was inspired to open a wellness collective, ESO Live Well, where you could find multiple services under one familiar roof. At ESO we provide services for the mind, body, and soul including private and group pilates and yoga sessions, meditation, nutrition, sound baths, Infrared sauna, massage, ice baths and so much more!
I love the idea of practitioners being able to communicate underneath one roof to better support clients. Additionally, it’s nice for independent practitioners to collaborate and learn from one another and lean on the support of the talents and skills of another. It’s very much a community environment, we’re all in it together at ESO.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life has been anything but smooth, haha, but I wouldn’t change the bumps in hindsight. That’s how you learn and grow as a human, business owner, and teacher. A few struggles to note would be my diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis. my mom going through breast cancer, the cancer diagnosis of my husband a week after opening ESO followed by the pandemic 1.5 years later. I’m grateful to be where I am today with the support of family, friends, and our community at ESO.
We’ve been impressed with ESO Live Well, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was kind of a serious kid. I was a gymnast from 4-13 and loved being active. I also had a lot of self-discipline. I’ve always had a competitive spirit and enjoyed doing athletic activities like snowboarding, running, and working out. Some would say I was shy as a girl, but as I grew up, I definitely came out of my shell. I was a good student and didn’t get into too much trouble as a teen, but did have my fair share of fun towards the end of high school and throughout college. I loved traveling to Greece, where my parents are from, in the summers. Family has always been a big part of my life, I have a brother and sister that I am super close to as well. I always had a dream of opening my own business, I just never would have thought it would be in health and wellness. I assumed restaurants since that’s what my family was in, and in college I thought a clothing store, I was a fashion major.
