Today we’d like to introduce you to Marissa Jones.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a Licensed Nurse! I got my big break into the industry over ten years ago and ran with it!

My specialty is Aesthetic and Bariatric Nursing combined! What does this mean!? I am able to help clients medically with weight loss along with body Sculpting and being a part of the clients’ successful journey of feeling great inside and out!

I worked practices to build their weight loss and body sculpting business until one day, I woke up and said, I’m. Going to open my own business! Less than a year later, I have my very own location and am excited about what the future may hold!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think for every business; nothing is easy. It has been a struggle not knowing where to start and what’s the next step. I would say, The battle for me is I worked a full-time clinic position and managed my business at the same time! Working two full-time jobs almost! How do I do it!? That’s what everyone asks me all the time, lol. I do it for love and passion! I enjoy what I do!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am known for many of my body treatment such as Body Sculpting; This allows me to focus on the needs of each client and customize and tailor all treatments. I stand out because I can identify clients’ needs when it comes to body and medical concerns…Along with my extensive background in the industry. I am very proud to be a business owner and now have my very own location. Also, I am very proud when my clients share with me the joy of change with treatments! It’s a great feeling!

What are your plans for the future?
I look forward to opening my place of business to entrepreneurs who would like to start their journey and share their craft, It’s a great way to watch and see artists flourish!
