Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Moon.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all started when I had my first cell phone, which was the cause of what I am today and the photographs when I started were minimalist, details, nature, after that I felt very curious and I investigated more about photography to achieve the concepts I wanted to express. Then the portrait of people began and at that time it was a hobby that I had before it became my profession, something more than a simple “Click” was what made me more detailed, perfectionist, analytical and effective in what I do.
The process is hard but if you enjoy it, you learn and keep going no matter how many times you fall. Then you will notice the great result.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Depression, anxiety and all that forged my character and the way of being. But the path is just beginning.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I totally dedicate myself to photography because I really want to focus all my energy on these incredible things. That is my specialty, apart from drawing, I have practiced that since I was a child and my taste for music has always been in what art is. I really like rap, I practice it but that is something more personal because not many know that very different side.
I feel very proud of myself and of all the effort I have given and will continue to give to achieve more incredible jobs and meet more people who become very special in my life.
What sets me apart from the rest? Just my presence makes you feel peace and security, the people around me feel that vibe.
In the field of art, it is different to me that I always look for my essence and my style, I always seek to stand out for my way of taking photographs or whatever I propose, I do it perfectly.
Even if it costs but my duty is to do it.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see myself working alongside the greatest photographers in the world.
I see a great future for my art and being better than my past version and thus being a great artist and the best photographer.
