Hidden Gems: Meet Saint Omani of THE AMRÉ

Hi Saint, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hey y’all, my name is Saint Ömani. I am a college dropout who had/has big dreams of being a fashion designer. I always wanted to own my own business, which my grandparents are a huge inspiration in this part. This fashion dream started my sixth-grade year when I was told I should be a model because of my figure. The model dreams faded in and out when I decided I wanted to dress the models instead, I wanted my name to be much bigger and brighter than just a model. I moved to Atl in 2020 of June when my college future failed in February 2020. While in Atl I was around an amazing woman named MW whom gave me space and peace to dream. I wanted this fashion dream to work but I didn’t know where to start. I would watch runway shows and the behind scenes prep shows; trying to figure a small but major thing the model would where or use. Constantly doing research and while the same time trying to find my purpose in this fashion industry. So back to grandparents lol, they own a painting company that has been a major part of my life. I thought I could connect the two together. Something different but yet the same. Ya know, continuing the family legacy but in my own way.

That’s when THE AMRÉ (am-ree) was born! The nail polish was vegan, bold, and ready to take on the world! Vegan nail polish was the key of my plan. A small gesture but a huge impact. As I got deep into it I realized I wanted this nail polish to be more than just a fashion statement, I wanted it to be a way for people to paint their purpose.
THE AMRÉ is still a baby but we’re growing and growing and making our way. Standing in a lane of the unknown, we still manage to paint every pro and cons of this journey!

So with that being, the portrait is still in the making……

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This journey has not been easy, the main is learning all of the business aspects. Trying to a grow a business by yourself is probably the most challenging part of the journey. Having to wear many caps can be hard, but believe me this is very worth it!

We’ve been impressed with THE AMRÉ, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
THE AMRÉ is a vegan nail polish company that represents all genders. THE AMRÉ currently carries 17 colors. THE AMRÉ stands out by the long-lasting colors and the nontoxic ingredients that we carry; the colors are vibrant.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
During Covid, I learned the most that time is wasted for no one. It’s definitely important to show yourself love and express your creative side doing your favorite hobbies.
