Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Reyes.
Hi Noah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started my entertainment career at age 10. I got my first commercial audition and booked it right away. I have been working since. I also picked up the guitar and told myself I was going to be the best at playing the guitar. I want to been known for being a professional in the music and entertainment industry. At age 13 I became SAGAFRA. I’m 16 now and I enjoy performing for small and large audiences with the help of my band @thatsunband. I am learning how to network so I can meet new entertainers and hopefully work with new people soon.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a performing artist has been amazing. But you have to practice every day if you want to be the best. I believe this is why I get booked for performances. I attended one of the best performing artist schools in Ontario, CA The Inland Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and in September this year 2022, my mentor passed away. So yeah, the struggle is super real now.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in electric guitar and acoustic guitar right now. I manage my own band @thatsunband and I started a practice band, so I stay busy playing music. I am currently working on my own songs right now, so that should be coming out one day. I am currently auditioning for new things in the acting world as well.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The advice my music mentor shared with me that was great advice and I would like to share with others is to make sure you take business, admin, marketing classes in college because you won’t know how to manage yourself if you only take music classes. I try to do everything with Love. I stay passionate and I try to never give up.
