Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Pitman.
Hi Bianca, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Bianca Pitman aka Divine Mother. I am a holistic women’s health coach specializing in womb healing and feminine wellness.
While working in production as a hairstylist for many years learning about the number of chemicals women use daily on their bodies and how you only have to put 5 natural ingredients in a product and can label it as “all-natural”.
After learning about the carcinogens and other parabens and things that have become contributing factors to diseases such as cancer, hormone imbalances, and infertility in women. I found this to be very misleading as a consumer of natural products or what I thought were natural products and was inspired to create a natural product line that was 80%-100% natural.
While also simultaneously experiencing hormonal imbalance challenges that led me to a phase where I went almost 10 years without getting my menstrual cycle naturally I was finally able to put a name to my condition when I found out I had PCOS in 2017. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a hormonal imbalance that 1 in 10 women have where a woman will produce more testosterone than she does estrogen. I knew that the chemicals in our products were a contributing factor to my condition.
When the doctor suggested that birth control was my only option for treatment I decided that I wanted to take a more holistic approach to my healing and decided to try vaginal streaming. Due to my experience in herbalism, I was able to marry my expertise with herbs and my current condition with PCOS where I was able to create a solution after creating a blend that gave me a period in just 4 days of usage. After seeing how life-changing my experience was with this beautiful practice. I then became inspired to become certified in healing the Vagina naturally through Whole Foods in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Taking what was just a natural hair and skin care line and pivoted “Be You Beauty” into a feminine wellness brand where I now create holistic feminine wellness products for women while teaching women the importance of womb wellness.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I would say some of my struggles, in the beginning, would be the fact that I had trust issues to where I didn’t want any help. There is no I in TEAM. Being on a one-man team for some of my journey was a setback. I had to learn that all the lessons led me to the people and places I am now and they were a necessary part of my growth. Making products, designing packaging, creating emails, doing pop-ups, shipping orders, taking courses, and designing packaging. It becomes overwhelming sometimes but every day I find something to be grateful for regarding my journey because I do love what I am blessed to do for women.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a women’s health advocate, herbalist, womb healer, and owner of Be You Beauty. I educate and empower women who are seeking holistic alternatives to their feminine wellness. Spreading awareness by teaching women the importance of womb healing and establishing a connection with the womb as well as how to take their power back when it comes to their reproductive/menstrual health. We provide holistic services that nurture a woman physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Building “Coochie Confidence” we are well known for our array of holistic feminine wellness products starting with our Yoni Bar.
I would say that one of the things that set us aside from other womb wellness advocates or coaches is our brand is a lifestyle. When you join our tribe you join a family, a sisterhood that makes you feel seen, heard, and appreciated in all phases of womanhood. Our transformation takes place on both a physical and spiritual level.
Some of my proudest moments include being able to make a woman appreciate her menstrual cycle by assisting her with a noninvasive alternative to healing whether it’s painful periods, infertility issues, hormonal imbalances, etc. I love being able to show a woman how powerful she is in her own body.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The feminine wellness industry was a 19.24 billion dollar industry in 2020 with the expectations of it increasing to 27.80 by 2027. I do see big changes coming into play being that there has been an increase in plant-based products on the market nowadays. Even though vaginal steaming is something that’s been practiced in many different countries for centuries I do see people remembering their traditions and going back to things their ancestors would practice. So instead of saying it’s something that’s trending I’ll say we are waking up and remembering our roots. Which I think is beautiful. I think in the next 5-10 years. It will be hard for the medical system to continue to prey on a woman’s ignorance when it comes to her menstrual/reproductive health being that women are now seeking holistic alternatives.
