Today we’d like to introduce you to Zaid Dahhaj.
Hi Zaid, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a teenager, I learned to appreciate the realm of health through my experience as an athlete in competitive soccer and the death of my beloved father from heart disease. I’m a firm believer that our most traumatic experiences offer us an opportunity to make a vow for never-ending personal development. The day my father passed, I made a vow to learn as much as I could about health, embodying the practice, and how to help others with my expertise.
Now, I work 1-on-1 with men to fast-track their way to excellent health. I help them dial in every detail behind the five fundamentals – sleep, hydration, nutrition, movement, and effective supplementation.
This work is incredibly satisfying on a spiritual level and allows me to create a lasting impact through holistic principles.
Another important part of my work is The 2 AM Podcast. My co-host (Saied Ashour) and I use it as a platform to express ourselves and evolve our understanding of the world. It’s been an amazing learning process.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, yet such is life. I’ve dealt with countless struggles and evolved from each one of them.
My most notable learning experiences include the death of a father, coming to terms with not actualizing my childhood dream of playing professional soccer, dealing with limiting financial beliefs, and subconsciously sabotaging important relationships.
Through each and every one of these tough moments, I’m reminded that something greater has my back. Call it God, karma, the Universe, the law of attraction, or whatever fits your worldview. This energy speaks to me in the form of miraculous “coincidences.” I often have these experiences when I’m down and out. At my lowest and in need of a sign.
I hope that perspective helps somebody who feels like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a men’s health coach who helps gentlemen gain more energy and upgrade their overall health in 8 weeks’ time.
My approach is sustainable and holistic in nature. If it can’t help somebody for the rest of their life, I’m typically not interested in entertaining it.
My 1-on-1 coaching is built upon five foundation principles: Sleep, hydration, nutrition, movement, and effective supplementation. A lot more goes into the process including blood work interpretation and gene analysis, but most of the work is focused on the fundamentals which are responsible for the bulk of results.
The majority of men these days are confused about what they should do in regard to health. Even worse, many of them are complacent and choose not to take it seriously. Although I’m a firm believer people should take personal responsibility, I also have compassion in my heart thanks to my experience with previous clients.
I’m most proud of the results the gentlemen I’ve worked with have received. There’s nothing better in this world than being told your work makes a dramatic difference in somebody’s life. I help heal people and they in turn return the favor with the power of their transformation.
Here’s what sets me apart from most in the health coaching industry: I’m obsessed with learning more about all areas of well-being which has allowed me to gain an incredible amount of knowledge, and most importantly, direct experience. This allows me to get client wins within a week of working with them.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Take care of your health. It’s the most important aspect of your life. Without it, you and everything/everyone around you suffer. The world is sick right now. Chronic disease rates are at an all-time high. People desperately want to escape the pain they currently experience.
Nobody seems to have answers to the most pressing health problems. Yet, that’s because we aren’t going back to the basics. We’re fed countless lies and must discern truth from deception. Only then can you win back your sovereign spirit and well-being.
