Mike, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Since 2012, Corsair Aviation has been the premier Flight School in the Los Angeles area. As the sole Cessna Pilot Center at Van Nuys Airport we have partnered with the leading manufacturer of Flight Training Aircraft equipped with the latest technology including Garmin Glass Panel Avionics. Our passion has always been to offer the experience of flight to our customers and help them realize their dreams of becoming pilots!
More than just a flight school, we offer a full complement of services including: flight training, aircraft rental, air tours, aerial film & photography as well as much more! Soon we will be offering private air charters around California! Our beautiful facility at the Prop Park VNY offers luxurious accommodations and easy access for the public. Our professional and welcoming staff are dedicated to customer service and safety, ensuring our customers highest expectations are exceeded.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s always a challenge to grow a business with lots of competition, however we have always stayed true to our core in offering a superior service with safety and professionalism at the core.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
There’s always room for improvement and as they say hindsight is 20/20, however we had a clear vision since the beginning and that has always helped us succeed.
